The solar lanterns are equipped with a sensor that automatically turns the light on at dusk and off when the solar energy runs out. Remember to press the power button before hanging it up for the first time, and it will take care of turning the light on and off by itself. The more sunlight they receive during the day, the longer you can enjoy the lanterns' light in the evening. Solar lanterns shine the longest after a sunny day in summer but will also light up after a cloudy day, just not as long.

Maintenance of Solar Lanterns

At first glance, solar lanterns may resemble paper lanterns, but they are actually made of durable, water-resistant material, making them able to withstand most weather conditions. You will notice the difference when you hold one in your hand. This makes them perfect for outdoor use, as opposed to paper lanterns, they can withstand rain. However, we recommend taking the solar lanterns indoors when winter arrives or if it's very windy to protect them as much as possible. To make the most of the sunlight, we also recommend regularly cleaning the solar panel. You can simply wipe it with a damp cloth.
