The solar cell at the top of the lantern receives energy from the sun's rays during the day, turns itself on when darkness falls and turns off when there is no more sunlight left.
Of course, the lantern lights up longest after a sunny day in the summer, but also after a cloudy day, just not for as long.
The lamps can be hung outside in all kinds of weather, but if it is very windy, we recommend bringing them inside.
The lamps also last longer if they are brought inside in the winter, where they do not light up for long anyway when the sun is not so strong.
We recommend that you regularly clean the solar panel, wipe it with a damp cloth, so that the sun's rays are always optimally utilized.
